I'm making chicken curry and the recipe calls for ginger powder and I thought I had it in cupboard, but I don't.
Do you have anything else ginger in the larder? Fresh ginger, crystallized ginger,or dried ginger root? A predominantly ginger root chutney? Ginger beer or tea packets. Adapt the form to the recipe.
I so have ginger tea packets!! I never thought to use them in a cooking recipe (novice). I'll try it out, thanks!!
