How do I substitute powdered pectin for gelatin in a gummy candy recipe?

I've also read that agar-agar is a better sub for gelatin

I tried the agar and it didn't set... Probably needed more agar. Just trying pectin since we had it on hand. The great gummy candy experiment continues. Thank u!!

Please don't do a straight substitution in a recipe designed with gelatin. Use a recipe that designed to use pectin. Here's a good one, http://www.coconutandlime.com/2006/12/raspberry-jelly-candy.html
