I made a pecan pie and ended up with an extra 1 1/2 cups custard. What can I do with it?

Simmer it until it's thick, and it'll make a marvelous sauce for ice cream.

How about modifying a fool? Alternate layers of fresh fruit, whipped cream and the custard? Throw a few nuts in there for textural variance.
