Can I freeze a parsnip potato mash?

I made a delish mash of potato, parsnip, caramelized onions, chicken broth, and a little bleu cheese, except I made too much. Do you think I can freeze the leftovers? There is no butter or cream in it.

Technically you CAN, but you may be disappointed in the texture of the mash when you thaw it out. Have you ever had one of those frozen dinners with mashed potatoes in it? :(

Yes, lay it all flat in a freezer plastic bag.
