I have a question about the recipe "Warm Custard Spoon Bread " from LocalSavour. What is your opinion on halving this recpie? Quantity-wise it seems doable. It's just me and the hubs, and I'm guessing this isn't the best left over. Cheers!

Try halving the recipe and baking it in a loaf pan (8" x 4" is preferable, but if 9" x 5" is all you have, use that). Living in a two-person household, I downsize recipes intended for 8" or 9" square pans that way regularly. It usually works.
