I wouldn't 18 hours is a long time for meat and dairy. When in doubt throw it out, that's my mantra. It's a shame I know to throw out food. Unless it sat out in a very cold room as cold as your refrigerator I think it could be unsafe.
Please start over! 18 hours is too long in the danger zone, and it feels like boiling a casserole would ruin the dish. It's sad, but I think something else will have to be for dinner!
