Just made gingerbread cookies, decorated with royal icing; Can I freeze these?

Totally!! Do it all the time. Royal icing should do very well. The only issue is if your icing didn't fully harden -- then just be super careful in how you stack/store them so that one doesn't smudge or stick to the one below.
