Seeking recipe for "gingerbread"-flavoured loaf cake

I'm used to gingerbread baked in standard layer cake pan. As I finished up a load of banana bread the other day, I wondered about a gingerbread-flavoured loaf cake.

Just a nice simple quick bread type loafcake: molasses and the standard "gingerbread spices". No honey, part bottles of stout, chocolate, pumpkin puree, or rye flour.

Can anyone recommend a good reliable recipe?

Thank you!

Damp Gingerbread, by Delia Smith (1977) and also adapted and recommended by the late great Laurie Colwin in Gourmet magazine, jan 1993.
Has none of your forbidden ingredients.
Much made, much tested, much loved.

And this one, also much made, tested, loved.
Three-ginger gingerbread from New London Inn, NH in Bon Appetit October 1993.
Uses ground ginger, fresh ginger, and crystallized ginger. See
