I have a question about the recipe "Grilled Bread with Thyme Pesto and Preserved Lemon Cream" from fiveandspice. I'm hoping to make a vegan version of this for a party with several vegan guests attending. Any ideas on substituting the parmesan?

The vegans I know sub nutritional yeast for cheese, it has a cheesy flavor but is vegan. Add to taste I wouldn't necessarily use the same amount, you can always add more but can't remove.
