If I put this in a tart shell, do I need to refrigerate before serving and if so, how long?

yes, it sounds like everyone chills the pie for a few hours before service. that's so that it sets up firmer and cuts cleanly, and the flavor is better chilled.

      • Would you serve this alone, like a pudding, or on toast/scones etc. Just trying to understand how to use it.
