What will be the consequences of using whole wheat pastry flour in Camille Beccera's puff pastry recipe?

I am planning on making puff pastry for the first time, and accidentally bought whole wheat pastry flour. The texture seems a bit coarse to me. I don't care much about the health benefits, I just want the pastry to be perfect. Should I wait to buy regular pastry flour instead?

Go back to the store and buy the proper flour! Puff pastry requires a fair amount of work so you don’t want to exert all that effort only to have the recipe fail because you used the wrong ingredient. Puff pastry needs a more refined flour than what you have on hand.
