months ago i asked if it was ok to freeze apples to be used later for baking. someone thought so and i said i'd get back after i do it. it took me longer than i expected to get to it, but i made some muffins days ago with the apple pieces i had frozen. i also added some old apples that were already a bit mealy. didn't matter. the apples in the muffins were fine.
