Can I make a bag of kidney beans (1lb) in a 16 cup pressure cooker? If so, how?

If I add water up to the max line, will that be enough to cook the beans? I don't want to have an explosion, but I do want to make a whole bag's worth of beans if possible. By the way, my pressure cooker is an Instant Pot.

No, I don't think that a whole pound of beans can be cooked in a small pressure cooker. Here's a good link
