Can I sear then braise first cut veal chops in the oven?

Can I sear then braise first cut veal chops in the oven for 1 1/2 hours? Or will they get too dry. I normally make with 2nd cut chops and it's great! Thanks

They are tender and flavorful so pan frying works, but so does braising in my experience.
