wine pairings

Menu includes April Bloomfield's spicy lamb meatballs (https://food52.com/blog...), a green salad, and roasted delicata squash. Must wine be red? I'd love to get away with a white if possible.

Italians often say: drink red wine, when there is no more red, drink white.

A good New Zealand savignon blanc would be perfect! Nice menu choices.

You can absolutely do white! With the spicy lamb, a white with plenty of fruit and acidity will pair nicely. You could consider albarino, vouvray, or riesling. Rose is also a good option, as is sparkling wine. I'd avoid oaky Chardonnay.
