The Judy bird method calls for a 12-16 lb turkey. Mine is 8 lbs. how long do I cook for?

i just started brining this AM since that's the earliest I could pick up my turkey. Will it still take the suggested 2 3/4 hrs to cook?

No, it should take less time than that. I would start checking it at around 1 1/2 hours (total cooking time) to be safe.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your help. I am hosting Thanksgiving for the first time and want to look like I know what I'm doing!
