I have a question about the recipe "Chard Gratin" from Amanda Hesser. Hi! I was wondering if you had any succes replacing the cream with coconut milk. Love the recipe can't wait to try it but my stomach can handle cheese but not cream or milk so well. Thanks!

Hi baquelita - in the comments of the recipe someone shared that they successfully used coconut milk, they used about 1 cup!

I would use a non dairy substitute that is more neutral than coconut milk. Maybe a hemp or rice milk. I don't have experience cooking with them, but tastewise they come to mind.
