I steam them in a bamboo steamer. 11 minutes. And they are easier to peel!

Drop into boiling water, at 11 minutes remove to an ice bath.

This is the best method. After the eggs have cooled completely (several hours), almost all of them will peel easily with little to no effort.

Place eggs in a pan with cold water, enough to just cover eggs. Bring to a boil uncovered for 5 min. Turn off heat, cover for 10 min. Remove eggs and place in cold water to prevent yolks turning green. Shell and refrigerate in airtight container until ready to use. Result perfect boiled eggs! Will keep for up to 4 days in fridge.

and salting that water will help to keep the white from spreading out if any of the eggs should happen to crack/be cracked.

One of the simplest things, but not the easiest to master. It is also important to know that farm fresh eggs will take much longer than store bought eggs.
