I'm having a party for 80. I've done this plenty of times but i'm having a mental block. Give me some new fresh ideas!

Suggest you work from a cuisine you know or food related somehow to love or love feasts. Chocolate, so chicken mole? CheesecAkes, which the Ancient Greeks used to bake in shape of women's breasts (same shape as champagne saucer glass, modelled after Marie Antoinette. But variation...make savory CheesecAkes, eg with pesto or stilton and a few vegetables.

What sort of party will it be? Do you need hors d'oeuvres recipes or dinner recipes? If it's a dinner, is it sit down or a buffet? Some more information will definitely aid people in giving you helpful responses.

It's a Valentine Party. Last year I had passed hors d'oeuvres as people arrived and then a buffet for dinner. I also had a signature cocktail (punch bowl).
