Amanda's Watermelon and Tomato Salad

The recipe calls for 2 cups of watermelon puréed and set aside in a bowl. The next step calls for adding 1/2 cup of the above to the spice mixture. What's to be done with the remaining puréed watermelon?

Re-read step one again. "...In a large bowl, combine the remaining watermelon and tomato and toss with the sugar, a large pinch of salt, the mint, and lime juice."

Can you please clarify what becomes of the remaining pureed watermelon juice?
