I am using a recipe that calls for 4 bottles of dark ale or beer. I am not a beer drinker but we do have a couple of bottles of Brooklyn Pennant Ale and Brooklyn Lager here - will these work or do I need to shop for something different. The recipe is for braised beef short ribs.
