Mash potatoes or roasted potatoes with garlic and parsley for a dinner of flank steak w/, green beans and shallots, and sauteed mushrooms?

I vote mashed too. The sautéed mushrooms would be great eaten atop the mash, and you already have some texture contrast from the green beans.
