I made glazed carrots, where the glaze was made using ginger ale. But the glaze never actually happened, it never thickened up. What do I do?

The ginger ale may have not had enough sugar in it. You could try reducing it with sugar over a saucepan then add it to the carrots. Do you have the recipe available to send? I may be better help with it! :) Also, if you're looking for a sweet carrot recipe, this one is one of my favorites: https://food52.com/recipes...

Thank you! Here is the recipe: http://www.foodnetwork...
The carrots are cooked and I moved them from the saucepan. Should I start over with the ginger ale and sugar, or should I try to use what I cooked the carrots with and then add sugar?

Thanks for sending! Just chatted with some of the other editors and it may be possible that the heat wasn't on high enough. If the carrots are cooked, remove them from the pan and set them aside, then just start over with the glaze ingredients and reduce over high heat then toss with the cooked carrots. Hope that helps!
