I have a question about the recipe "Spicy Kabocha Squash Braised Chicken" from Miss Hangrypants. I don't see anything in the recipe about the kabocha squash.

It's not on the ingredients list, but the instructions say to "peel Kabocha squash and cut into cubes"- a little odd in that the great virtue of Kabocha squash is that it doesn't need peeling.
