From looking at both the jars (I'm an experienced canner) and the recipe, I would guess 1x makes 1 pint.
For shopping, multiply the ingredients by the number of gifts you want to give for a pint each (6x for 6 people) or by half that for cup-size gifts (3x for 6 people).
