I have a question about the current contest: Are you looking for both sweet and savory date recipes or just savory?

In the description of the contest, it says that Food52 is looking for our best savory recipe with dates, but there are a lot of delectable-looking sweet recipes entered. Can we enter both sweet and savory or is there a preference for savory ones?

Hi Asha! You can enter both, of course, however we're really looking for (and excited about!) savory date recipes, since dates are typically relegated to the sweet category. Thank you and we're looking forward to seeing your recipe(s)!
