Can you freeze cooked chicken on the bone?

Batch cooking chicken drumsticks and bone in thighs. Can I freeze as is or need to ramrod off bone?

Oh my gosh - I've done this for years. It's such a great way to have a dinner ready to go. When I'm ready to serve it, I defrost and then run it under the broiler so I get that crispy skin. The microwave makes it rubbery.
