i use a strong blender (I think like 800 watts, that's almost like the strongest nutribullet you can get). add 400 ml water and 250 ml (cup) of beans (I use mung beans at this stage, haven't experimented with more yet as this makes the base for a once daily greens/protein shake). mix on highest setting for two minutes. it works fairly well, no boiling/soaking involved, tastes a little floury after. add a few more ingredients and stevia. I haven't found any real negative reports (been searching online for a while) so I think its fine. ive been having it, I imagine the roughage (undigestable protein) component is high, that is a good thing
I have done the same. Usually works for me (occasionally though some beans from the batch take longer than others, therefore not perfect, but fine for an everyday meal).
They take varying times to completely cook.
So while storing them together, say in a single large jar, may save space, cooking them together is a pain.
Better to store and cook them separately and then, if you want, to combine for soups, salads, etc.

If you mean by "blend" to chop in a machine, I doubt most home machines are strong enough.
Also, for what purpose?
