A question about a recipe: General Tso's Cauliflower

I have a question about the recipe "General Tso's Cauliflower" from Sarah Jampel. Is it a problem if my Absolut Vodka is an opened bottle (obviously original cap intact) that has been sitting in a liquor cabinet for decades? There is no noticeable odor or discoloration, probably it's just less potent.

Should be fine. Only problem is likely to be some evaporation.

Some sources say ok indefinitely, some say not good after 10 yr.
If you're making the dish for home use, want to use up the old vodka & are willing to risk (minimal) taste change, go for it.
If you're making the dish for guests and want optimum results, buy a very small bottle of vodka and make the recipe.
