Bell Peppers are heavily sprayed with insecticides and should be soaked a minimum of 20 minutes in warm vinegar/water mix. Better yet to eat just organic! The vinegar and warm water will not hurt the taste nor appearance of the peppers.

No health risks, in fact you can eat the peels on many things including peppers, carrots, apples, peaches, cucumbers (the English variety are very soft), potatoes, grapes, etc. If you have any more questions, just ask us. We are all here to help! BB

I would say it's healthier to eat the skin - nutrients, fiber etc.

Not so. Only if it is organic!

I don't wash them Per Say with soap and water I just rinse them so I guess that would be good enough. Thank you so much to everyone that answered my questions.
