Strawberries with a drizzle of good quality balsamic vinegar. Try the same with peaches which are in season now.

Mixed fruit....strawberries, kiwi and cantaloupe are one of my favorite combinations. Serve it in a martini glass with a sprig of mint.

In addition to coconut ice cream, you can make a killer coconut “whipped cream”. Get some coconut cream (not coconut milk), Chill it (important), then whip it in the mixer. Add sugar (powdered is best) and serve. It keeps its lift a long time in the fridge. The last time I made this, my guests were practically devouring it. It is great on fruit, chocolate desserts, or even peach pie.

How about a rustic board or dish of fat sliced ripe black plums drizzled with real balsamic vinegar. I'd want to eat that.

I know there's non dairy ice cream out there but it's not on my radar. Go to the Asian or Indian supermarket. Buy mango puree and put scoops of vanilla nondairy ice cream in a puddle of the mango puree. To die. A friend of our from India gave us this. She says not to even mess with fresh mangoes in the US but just buy the canned puree.

A banana and a package of frozen raspberries buzzed in a food processor is a great quick sorbet. You can flavor it with vanilla.

Try the Herve This' Chocolate Mousse Genius Recipe on this site. It requires TWO ingredients (seriously) water and bittersweet chocolate. You can add a bit of orange juice or a favorite liqueur if you wish to show off! It also requires ice cubes. It is a foolproof, no bake, knock your guest's socks off, fastest dessert ever recipe!
