I want to cook warm orange pie and without marmallad

Is it possible to slice the oranges in a thin way and put the on the dough
I don't know what to do. I want to see the shape of each orange on it. Just as we make apple pie. I don't like precooked orange pies cause they're cold.
Is there a way for making marmallad, so that u dont have to chop the dear oranges?! Please help, I'm fed up with those reciepes with orange juice or orange peel!
Thanx

Bake a pie crust blind.
Saute thin slices of orange in butter, sugar and optional spicing to taste. Place slices and sweet sauce in baked pie shell.
Store in fridge.
Serve chilled, room temp or briefly warmed up.
Plain or with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
