I have a question about the recipe "Grandma Piggyback's Broiled Coffee Cake" from Jenny Klion. My cake flour is not self-rising - how should I adjust the recipe?

For 1 cup self-rising cake flour flour, add 1 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 tsp salt (to your 1 cup cake flour).
Confirmed. Those are the instructions from King Arthur Flour.
Found using Google search query: "make self-rising flour site:kingarthurflour.com" (top hit and summarized by Google).
Hi, I believe that you can add 1 1/2 (one and a half) teaspoons of baking powder per cup of cake flour, and sift together several times. Then I would still add the additional 1/2 teaspoon baking powder that the recipe calls for. Hope that helps/works! Thanks!
