Hi Ruth! Yes, making it a day ahead should be fine. When I was testing, I brought leftovers into the office and my coworkers reheated them in the microwave no problem. If you're reheating the entire casserole in the oven, I'd cover the pan with foil to generate some steam and bake at a lower temp, say 325° F. Hope this helps!
