I keep getting highly varied answers. does anybody know how many cups of lemon curd fills a 9x1 inch fluted tart pan?

Same as cups of anything else- I'd suggest doing an experiment using rice or something of the sort; all tart pans are not alike. Obviously, the volume of the pan is going to be significantly larger than the volume of a shell baked in it.
