I have a question about the recipe "Sheet-Pan Mac & Cheese With Pumpkin & Brown Butter" from Ella Quittner. Do you think I can make this ahead up to the point of baking and then bake right before serving?

Hi there! I actually just asked Ella your question and she says you absolutely can. She just recommends covering and refrigerating until you're ready to bake; she adds that you should hold on adding the panko until you actually bake so that they don't get soggy.
