Would it be possible to use dried mushrooms like chanterelles or morsels in place of the other mushrooms?

Yes you can use dried mushrooms....just make sure you re-hydrate them before sauteing. The mushroom flavor might be a little more intense but that's a good thing! Merry Christmas!
