Baking time and temp required?

At what temp and for how long should this be baked? I’m making an apple pie for the first time ever 😅

Yay, that's exciting! Smaug's recommendation of 400°F for about an hour sounds right to me. For extra color and texture, you can brush the top crust with an egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon cream, milk, or water), then sprinkle with raw sugar.

Hi there! It seems, lending a hand to those baker-natics and food lovers is my top role and goal. ^_^ I would like to share to you my grimoire here which I also luckily found here online. It's Keikos Cake and Pastry. You will find it here mate, http://bit.ly/2JnWr3x. Hope you like it. ^_^

You're in luck; apple pies (of the standard variety) do not require pre baking the crust; you simply assemble the pie and bake it- opinions vary a little' I use 400 degrees for about an hour; the top crust should look done (be careful of overbaking the rim- I haven't had problems with it, but some prefer to cover the rim with foil or pre-made pieces made for the purpose), and the filling should be bubbling up noticeably. Pre baking a crust is a bit trickier.
