I like these spouts because you can just pop them into whatever olive oil or vinegar bottle you have, without decanting, cleaning, etc. I discovered the gravity spouts about 20 years ago at an olive orchard in No Cal's gold country (El Dorado County).

They are particularly nice for red wine vinegar -- I use them in a tall glass bottle that's pretty enough to go out on the table -- because it makes it so easy to sprinkle on just a touch of vinegar to soups and stews, or really anything else that need brightening. I urged the Food52 shop to source and sell those stoppers, given how convenient they are, and attractive (functional + beautiful, thank you very much, WIlliam Morris), but alas . . . . ;o)
