DULCE DE LECHE GLAZE IS NOT THICK ENOUGH
I have a recipe for Dulce de Leche Glaze. It calls for 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk. It tastes very good, but is thin, and practically melts into the cake. The picture accompanying the recipe shows the glaze much thicker and lighter in color. Any thoughts as to how to make this more closely resemble the picture?
