Is bean and ham hocks soup sit on counter after just being boiled without going bad.

I made a bean soup (with a ham hock in it)(ham hock was fully cooked). Recipe said bring to boil then simmer for 2 hrs. I had to leave, so switched everything to a crock pot after it had come to a boil, then left....forgetting to turn on the crock pot. Got back a little more than 2 hours later. Do I have to throw it all out?

Only long enough to cool it to 40 degrees before refrigerating it. Pour it out into a shallow baking dish and stir it often. You need to cool it within 2 hours.
