Hi Katcarrara! Tell me more about the casserole you're trying to make—if it's a mashed sweet potato casserole, I'd cut it into cubes and boil it before mashing and baking it. But if it's a sliced sweet potato, gratin-like recipe, I'd just slice it very thinly and not pre-cook the potatoes.
