Disgusting greaseballs after years of flawless cookies

I have been using a cookie recipe for years and this year I keep getting disgusting greaseballs instead of cookies. Please help.

To help us give you a valid answer or solution, please say if everything (method, ingredients, tools, oven, temperature) is the same AND you are getting the terrible grease ball non - cookies?
If you have changed some thing(s), what are they?
