Can I double this recipe? I want to feed more people and would rather make a double version than make two cakes. Thoughts?
Can I double this recipe? I know it will take longer to bake but then it will be twice as large and probably feed twice as many people.

The recipe reads like a French Silk Pie. Right down to the 1 pound of butter, the 1 pound of Sugar and the Eggs. Except the pie is not cooked. So eat at own risk!

Can't see why not, if you have bowls and pans enough.

Further thoughts - if you want to make a double recipe in one baking pan, you may have to lengthen the baking time and/or check it more often. You will probably get better results in a wider low baking pan (rather than a deep one with smaller length/width or diameter).
