Boil potato slices for 10 mins then roast at 450F for 40 mins? Seems a lengthy roast for .66 of a pound of taties ... anybody made this?

Hi Athena! The longer roast time is key for the basting and caramelization of the potatoes. Go for it! But it's always smart to keep an eye on them since every oven is different.
