Asian style drumsticks. How do I do it :/

I wanted to make sweet savoury sticky drumsticks but didn’t want to deep fry. Anyone have a recipe? I can use my cast iron to sear and then bake if necessary. Also I’ve seen recipes telling me to remove the skin. It’s that the usual way it’s done? Also I don’t have brown sugar but I do have honey. I have hoisin soy ginger garlic cilantro lime sesame oil sesame seeds sriracha sambel fish sauce... etc ... I’m just at a loss because there are so many recipes. Thanks for any help!

Try a light coating of seasoned flour on the chicken. Shallow fry for some color and crisp. Then finish baking in oven. For the glaze/sauce, mix together a little hoisin, soy sauce, samba oelek (if you want spicy) or honey & vinegar (if you want sweet & sour), and maybe a little fish sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning to your preference. The toss the cooked warm/hot chicken with this sauce. Sprinkle with some toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
