1 ounce of the sweetened condensed milk?

I want to make this recipe but I am confused as to the amount of sweetened condensed milk to use. As written I would only use 1 oz of a 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk.

I think he/she meant "1 14 ounce can of condensed milk."
