Can I freeze the dough and useclater

The dough has been in refrigerator for 50 hours can I freeze some of the dough and if so for how long

I’ve made these particular cookies and always partition the dough using an ice cream scoop. Freeze on parchment lined cookie sheet Until solid. Place in ziplock bags or airtight containers. Bake as needed. These are delicious cookies.

yes, you may freeze it even if it has been in the refrigerator for a couple of days. .I usually portion chocolate chip cookie dough into 2 or 3 rolls wrapped in wax paper or parchment, put them into a large ziplock bag and freeze. Then I can take out a roll, defrost, slice and bake.

I haven't made this specific recipe but you can freeze almost any cookie dough. I recommend portioning it into balls first.
