Short ribs smelling are they good

They stink..l watched the butcher cut them fresh..but man they smell terrible I am making Korean short ribs and follow the directions they smelt when I was raising them and now they smell in the Crock-Pot

That's odd. I always adhere to rather "safe than sorry", so I wouldn't eat them. Although I'm sure it's the last thing you want to do in the middle of the pandemic, you might be able to return the meat.
