Batter went down to the bottom of the pan

Hi! I just made this cake and I haven't tried it yet, but looks amazingly moist!!! The problem is the streusel layer in the middle went down to the bottom of the pan. Do you know why this might have been? Thanks!

According to Cook's Illustrated, it's actually the batter rising up, not the streusel sinking down (https://www.cooksillustrated.com/articles/577-rethinking-coffee-cake). This can result from not enough flour in the batter. Make sure you're measuring by weight if you can!
